Nature's Supply Centre can supply you with all of your firewood needs! It gets cold in the winter and more and more people are using firewood to heat their homes. Do you own a restaurant? If so, we can supply you with weekly/monthly deliveries for your restaurant needs. Our firewood is brought in as logs and we allow the logs to season for 8 months to a year prior to cutting into firewood.
What Is A Cord Of Wood?
Most have heard the term "cord of wood", but may not know what that means. A full cord is a large amount of wood. It measures 4 feet high by 4 feet wide by eight feet long (4' x 4' x 8') and has a volume of 128 cubic feet. If you are burning firewood in a wood heater or insert for home heat, a 4' long log will not fit!
How Much Firewood Do You Need?
If you burn wood a few times a month, you would need 1/2 cord. If you burn wood 1-2 times a week, you would need 1 cord. If you burn wood as a major part of your heat you will need between 3-5 cords of wood. This is based on a 2-3 bedroom home that is well insulated. Older homes and larger homes may need up to 6+ cords of firewood.
How Much Firewood Can A Customer Pickup?
The price sheet below will help you determine the price of a truck load of firewood. If you need more than that, you will have to make two trips or we can deliver the wood within our delivery area.
